After studying at the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design (MIAD) in Wisconsin, I spent several years working as a graphic designer. My creative path took a turn after traveling to New Mexico—where the land, light, and vibrant art scene reignited my passion for painting.
That journey led me to create a deeply personal two-year series exploring breast cancer. Today, my work has shifted into a more playful direction. I’m currently focused on whimsical, abstract florals and dynamic shapes, using acrylic, resin, and oil to build layered, three-dimensional effects that bring each piece to life.
My artwork has been exhibited in galleries across Minnesota, including at the MSP Airport. In addition to painting, I began curating exhibitions in 2021 at the Bakken Museum and, since 2024, at The Dow Art Gallery in St. Paul.

I work with a wide range of mediums—acrylics, inks, resin, pumice, oil, and dry pastels—on both canvas and wood. For me, using a single medium feels too limiting. I approach each piece intuitively, allowing the process to guide me. The result is artwork that takes on its own unique style, shapes, and subject matter—often evolving into something entirely unexpected.

My artistic influences include mid-20th-century women of Abstract Expressionism and the bold gestures of 1970s–80s Neo-Expressionism. My work is both expressive and healing—documenting my journey to understand life, perception, and emotion. I’m especially drawn to vibrant and sublime color, using a wide range of techniques and tools to evoke energy and mood.
My work has been exhibited throughout Minnesota, including at the MSP Airport. In addition to painting, I’ve been curating exhibitions since 2021—first at the Bakken Museum and, as of 2024, at The Dow Art Gallery in St. Paul.
